Congratulations to Lisa Ferguson who competed in the Commonwealth pool Life Saving championships.

3 gold 2 silver and Aussies won the double taking out both divisions.

Lisa is now in a sling. Her AC is wrecked, She did it on the 2nd day but with the points score so close Lisa didn't let the coach know how bad it was. Well done Lisa

 

Congratulations to David Morton, who is one of the original swimmers that started at Bayside when it began and who is also a coach at the club has just obtained a much sought after Scholarship from ESS Performance.

  Below is what it is about. 

The ESS Performance Athlete Development Scholarship (ADS) is an exciting initiative by ESS Performance in partnership with Victoria University. The ADS is aimed at supporting 200 elite and developing athletes with access to elite level training, education and recovery programs to help them achieve sporting success. The ADS is open to Victorian athletes who have demonstrated outstanding performance in their chosen sport or have high sporting aspirations.
